FAQ
I've installed the software on my server, but the home page is not showing up in my browser.
When installing ClickCartPro on your server, it is very important to have the permissions set correctly.
The 'data' and 'images' directories and all of the sub-directories and files in them must be set to 0777 permissions (Linux/Unix) or Full Control (Windows). The 'cgi-bin' directory and all of the sub-directories and files in it should be set to 0755 (Linux/Unix) or have the ability to execute scripts (Windows).
Can I manage my entire site end to end with ClickCartPro?
Yes. ClickCartPro's flexible API allows complete control over an entire Internet site, not just the part of a site dedicated to e-commerce.
How do I change my username from "webmaster" to what I want it to be?
In the administrator, under 'Login Utilities', you must first create a new user profile with the username and password you desire. Make sure to set the correct access for this account. Webmaster access will provide you with full access to the entire administrator. After you have created your new user profile you may delete the previous 'webmaster' username account.
I've added a category, but it's not showing up in the online store.
Before a category shows up in the cart you must first have a product associated with that category.
Do you have a version of ClickCartPro for my NT server?
Yes. ClickCartPro will work on Unix, Linux and Windows servers. Your NT server will need ActiveState Perl installed to function properly.
If I purchase ClickCartPro, will I be able to modify the scripts if I need to customize it for my site?
Yes. ClickCartPro is an open source program. Once
you purchase the software, you can make any modifications
to the script that you desire.
